Based on traditional Folk dress and 1950’s Italian screen Sirens, the Greta has real va va voom but is deceptively simple to make. It can be made out of all sorts of fabrics, embellished in a million ways and styled up to suit all occasions and personal styles!
This sewing project is suitable for beginners in pattern drafting and for a reasonably confident beginner sewist.
There are fabric suggestions included in the guide as well as lots of tips and tricks to inspire and guide you along the way.
The Greta is a size free and inclusive garment so you just use your measurements and follow the instructions and you will have your dream made to measure blouse or dress in no time. And there are no limitations on the versions you can make for yourself and those you love {If you want to do a bit of selfless sewing!}

You will need approximately 2 metres of fabric for a Greta blouse and approximately 4 metres for the dress.
You also need a sewing machine and basic sewing equipment.
